Design of the multi-stage microstrip/strip hybrid feeding network

A new multi-stage microstrip and strip hybrid feeding network of printed dipole array antenna for low side-lobe radar is given, which is easy to be integrated with the radiation dipoles, and also compact and light. Moreover, on the basis of the cascaded analysis of the scattering matrix of the sub-networks, the good performances of 1:48 hybrid network with the relative bandwidth 10% in S-band are obtained. The measured results are given and found to be valid.
