      Power measurement on stepped-frequency pulse signals

      • In order to measure the power of the stepped-frequency pulse signal, the existing pulse measurement techniques need to be improved. Using the spectrum analyzer as a measurement tool, the power of the signal is measured by the spectral line method and the envelope method respectively. To avoid the use of pulse desensitization factor, a more rapid measurement method is proposed. The maximum error under different methods is only 1.08 dB. The power measurement results show that the new method can rapidly get the accurate pulse power value in a large bandwidth range.
