Abstract
The transmitted signal contaminated by the multipath clutter in the receiver end must be recovered for matched filtering for high frequency passive bistatic radar. A type of combined blind super exponential(SE) algorithm and constant modulus algorithm is proposed to accomplish the recovery of the transmitted signal in the reference channel. Sparsity of the multipath reflection of the ionosphere is utilized to simplify the computational complexity of the SE algorithm. The effect of the quality of the recovered signal on the target detection performance is evaluated. The combined algorithm has the advantages of the fast convergence rate and low computational complexity with an acceptable performance loss. The performance of the proposed algorithm is validated through computer simulations.
