Regression analysis of airborne antenna pattern

  • Based on the established simulation model that integrates an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) with its airborne antenna, the interference patterns of the airborne antenna for ground target were studied with engineering software, considering the flight attitude, the polarization match of the airborne antenna for ground receiving antennas and the direction pattern of the airborne antenna. Combined with the numerical results of the airborne antenna simulation, a fitness function was proposed for the regression of the interference patterns by genetic algorithm. An analytical formula is obtained which is believed to be suitable for practical application.
