Abstract
Using the measuring instrumentality that is exactly the same as the available bearings-only target motion analysis of fixed single station, in the case of the adjacent traveling distance of target being inequality, the solving formula for bearings-only passive location of fixed single station, which can solve the target path angle and moving speed as well as radial distance between target and fixed single station, is perfectly presented based on the simple plane geometry relationship and by introducing the self time difference measuring equation. New method presented in this paper pierces through the limitation in available method that can only obtain the target heading and the ratio between target speed and initial radial distant only using the relationship between distance and speed.
