Abstract
Metasurface is a hotspot and frontier in the field of electromagnetic research, which can effectively regulate electromagnetic waves. Due to the increase of the number of units with different microstructures, the two-bit digital coding metasurface enhances the flexibility of scattering and radiation control, which makes it possible to achieve better stealth effect, wider bandwidth and multi-function. In this paper, the fractal magneto-electric dipole antenna structure and polarization metasurface unit are organically integrated to construct the unit of coding-feeding metasurface. Through the microstructure transformation and digital coding, a two-bit coding-feeding metasurface is proposed, and its topology is designed. The multi-functional characteristics of radiation and scattering manipulation are verified by simulation and experiment. The two-bit coding-feeding metasurface has potential application in radar cross section (RCS) reduction of antenna and wireless communication system in the future.
