      2-D DOA estimation using a sparse linear array of distributed electromagnetic vector sensors

      • 摘要: 采用由分布式电磁矢量传感器组成的稀疏线阵,针对相干信号提出了一种扩展孔径2维波达角(Two Dimensional DirectionofArrival,2D DOA)估计算法.通过构造增强矩阵来消除信号的相干性,利用稀疏线阵包含的向量特性、x轴和y轴空间相位因子获得高精度无模糊估计.与传统算法相比,算法不但保留了传感器的向量特性,而且增大传感器各分量之间的间距以及传感器之间的间距来获得2D孔径扩展,具有更高的测向精度.仿真验证了本文算法的有效性.

         

        Abstract: An extendedaperture based algorithm for two dimensional directionofarrival(2D DOA)estimation of coherent sources using a sparse linear array of distributed electromagnetic vector sensors(DEMVS)is proposed.First,the coherent signals are decorrelated by constructing an enhanced matrix.Then,the vector property,xaxis and yaxis spatial phase factors embedded in the sparse linear array are employed to extract the high accurate and unambiguous 2D DOA estimations.Compared with traditional 2D DOA algorithms in multipath environment,the proposed method keeps the vector property of the DEMVS,and also increases the spacing between components of the EMVES and the intersensor spacing to achieve 2D aperture extension,and thus providing better estimation performance.Simulations are presented to verify the efficiency of the proposed method.
