      Principles of antenna gain enhancement via dielectric plate lens

      • 摘要: 采用了基于光学理论和电磁理论相结合的分析方法,对介质平板透镜提高天线增益的原理进行了分析,结果表明该方法比传统方法能够更有效地提高天线的增益. 并以双层微带贴片天线加载介质平板透镜为例,进行了参数分析与优化. 理论分析和电磁仿真均表明,合理选择介质平板透镜的参数可以有效地提高微带天线单元的增益、减小天线阵列的规模,从而验证原理了的有效性.

         

        Abstract: A novel technique based on optical theory and electromagnetic theory is presented to improve the gain of the dielectric plate len. The mechanism of gain enhancement via a dielectric plate len is analyzed with the presented method. The results show that the method is more efficient and stable than the traditional ones. A parametric study on doubledeck microstrip antenna covered by a dielectric plate len is performed to validate the method. Both the theory analysis and the numerical simulation indicate that dielectric plate lens with appropriate electromagnetic parameters can not only improve the gain of the microstrip antenna significantly, but also greatly reduce the size of the antenna array.
