      A digital linear correction method of the VCO on the vehiclemounted radar

      • 摘要: 压控振荡器(voltagecontrolled oscillator,VCO)是车载雷达射频前端传感器的关键部件,因为VCO中变容二极管固有的非线性特性,直接调制方法会产生VCO输出频率非线性的问题,采用一种基于电压分段VCO数字式线性校正方法来解决.融合了模拟校正与数字校正的优点,改善了VCO的输出频率线性度,提高了雷达系统的测试精度和准确度.

         

        Abstract: A method on the digital linear correction of (voltagecontrolled oscillator.(VCO) in the vehiclemounted radar RF frontend utilizing voltage segment is described in this paper, which is used to solve the nonlinear problem of the amplitude frequency characteristic of the VCO caused by the inherent nonlinear tuning characteristics of the varactor diode in the VCO. The linearity of the output of the VCO is improved by this method which combines with the advantages of analog and digital correction method. It improves the test precision and accuracy of the radar system as well.
