      An improved algorithm for the integral vapor of atmosphere measurement using a microwave radiometer

      • 摘要: 提出选择具有最佳频率组合的双通道微波辐射计,通过测量路径上的湿延迟来解算积分水汽含量的改进算法。由于在湿延迟测量模式中,消除了云中液态水对湿延迟测量的"过量"影响,湿延迟测量具有很高的精度。因此,改进算法可提高云天大气积分水汽的测量精度,与由辐射亮温直接解算的传统算法相比测量误差可减小35%以上。

         

        Abstract: An improved algorithm for the atmospheric integral vapor measurement is proposed by using an optimum dual-frequency microwave radiometer. In this algorithm the integral vapor is deduced by detecting the wet delay of the metrical path. The wet delay measurement has high accuracy because the excessive effect of the liquid water in the clouds is eliminated during the detection process. This method could improve the precision of the integral vapor measurement in cloud day. The new method could get a detection error above 35% less than that by the traditional solution using the direct data of the at mospheric radiation brightness temperature.
