      Influence of obstacle towards electromagnetic wave propagation in the evaporation duct

      • 摘要: 利用快速傅里叶变换求解分段线性宽角抛物方程的方法,研究了单个障碍物和多个障碍物对海面上方蒸发波导中电磁波传播的影响,将光滑海面上有障碍物与无障碍物的蒸发波导中电磁波传播结果进行了比较和讨论。结果表明:随着障碍物的存在及传输距离和障碍物高度的增加,蒸发波导中电磁波路径传输损耗增大,这对评估海面上空含舰船和岛屿时蒸发波导的传输特性有重要意义。

         

        Abstract: The influence of the electromagnetic wave propagation in the evaporation duct with the single and multi-obstacles above the sea surface is studied by solving the piecewise-linear wide angle parabolic equation using fast-Fourier transform method. The comparison of the electromagnetic wave propagation above the smooth sea surface with and without obstacles is presented and discussed. It is shown that the propagation loss of electromagnetic wave in evaporation duct increases with the presence of the obstacle, the propagation path and the height of the obstacle, which is important for evaluating the characteristics of wave propagation with the ship and the island above the sea surface in the evaporation duct.
