Abstract:
Based on the polarization differences of jamming signal and target echo, polarization filtering can effectively counter many active jamming types. However, most available radar systems still lack polarization measurement ability,so an anti-jamming algorithm named as spatial virtual polarization filtering is proposed using antenna spatial polarization characteristics.Received signal models of active jamming and target echo are given, and the detailed signal process is outlined. Finally, computer simulations and radar field experiments have been carried out.Experimental results show that signal interference ratio(SIR)improvement factor can be larger than 30 dB for narrow band noise suppressive jamming under certain condition, proving the validity of this algorithm.
