      A novel technique for fast radar cross section computation in spatial domains

      • 摘要: 将最佳一致有理逼近理论和矩量法(MoM)相结合,提出了一种新的二维外推技术并对任意形状复杂目标雷达散射截面的空域二维特性进行了快速计算。与渐进波形估计(AWE)技术相比,Maehly逼近的优势在于不需要计算阻抗矩阵元素的高阶导数,能在更宽的范围内精确逼近MoM计算结果,并且很容易和MoM计算机代码相结合。与MoM逐点计算相比,Maehly逼近结合MoM能有效地提高计算效率。数值结果表明Maehly逼近结合MoM与MoM逐点计算的结果吻合良好,证明了该方法的有效性。

         

        Abstract: The best uniform rational approximation combined with method of moments (MoM) is proposed to quickly calculate the three-dimensional radar cross section (RCS) of complex arbitrary shape object in spatial domains. Compared with the asymptotic waveform evaluation (AWE) technique, the Maehly approximation does not require the complex computation concerning dense impedance matrix, and it is accurate in much broader range. It can be easily implemented into an existing MoM computer code. Compared with the results calculated at each frequency using MoM, the proposed technique is found to be superior in terms of the CPU time. Good agreement between the proposed method and the traditional MoM is observed. Numerical results show that the proposed method is available.
