      Using FDTD to analyze the field uniformity in reverberation chamber

      • 摘要: 针对目前仿真分析混响室内的场分布过程中计算量大、耗费时间长和对计算机配置要求高的现状,用在一定的约束条件下随机分布于球面上的一组等效源辐射的平面电磁波叠加而成的一维推进的重叠平面波模拟搅拌器搅拌过程中混响室内的电磁波,并采用时域有限差分法(FDTD)法对基于上述模型的混响室内的场分布进行了仿真计算,得出了使混响室内场分布达到不同均匀度要求时所需的最佳重叠入射平面波的数目。结果表明:采用的方法不仅可以有效缩短混响室设计中必须首先进行仿真分析的仿真计算时间,而且可针对预设场分布的均匀度要求,有目的地设置等效源的个数和位置,从而使整个仿真过程更加集约化。

         

        Abstract: For the problem of huge workload, long time and high computer configuration in calculating reverberation chamber(RC) electromagnetic(EM) field distribution, superposition incidence plane waves advanced in one-dimension, which are produced by a set of equivalent sources distributed randomly on the sphere under some restriction, are used to simulate the reflection EM waves produced by the stirrers in RC. Based on the former model, the finite-difference time-domain(FDTD) method is adopted to analyze the RC field distribution, and the number of superposition incidence plane waves required by different field uniformity is optimized. The results show that the method adopted in this paper not only shorten the computation time of designing RC effectively, but also lead to the optimized position and number of equivalent sources to meet the predetermined field uniformity purposefully. It makes the whole simulation intensification.
