Abstract:
In order to solve the problem that the ionospheric reconstruction algorithm based on the ionospheric model has strong dependence on the model, complex calculation and poor adaptability, an ionospheric region reconstruction algorithm which does not rely on the reference model is proposed and only rely on the sampling data in the region to reconstruct the regional ionospheric distribution. The algorithm is based on the measured
fcF
2 of a plurality of vertical stations distributed in the coverage area for reconstruction. Firstly, the relationship between longitude factor, latitude factor and
fcF
2 is constructed, followed by calculation of the
fcF
2 at any point in the region. A vertical station is selected as a reference station. The relationship between the expansion factor of
fcF
2,
fcF
1 and the corresponding reconstructed
fcF
2 is constructed. The relationship between plasma frequency and spreading factor and reference station
fcF
1 at any height at the corresponding distance is constructed. Through the expansion factor and the relation, the electron concentration in the region can be obtained. Compared with the oblique trace synthesized under the assumption of uniform ionosphere, the oblique trace synthesized by the proposed reconstruction method is closer to the real value. It shows that the algorithm in this paper can further improve the accuracy of ionospheric region reconstruction.
