      基于STL文件的FDTD网格剖分算法

      FDTD mesh generation algorithm based on STL file

      • 摘要: 针对复杂目标的时域有限差分(finite-difference time-domain, FDTD)法计算,提出了一种将非结构化网格直接转化为Yee网格的改进算法。该算法在射线求交方法的基础上对射线方程与三角面元求交公式进行优化,实现了快速的目标网格生成,有效降低了计算复杂度并提升了剖分效率。通过介质球、军舰和F22飞机模型等算例验证了该算法的正确性和高效性,可为大规模复杂目标的FDTD计算提供支撑。

         

        Abstract: For the calculation of complex targets by using the finite-difference time-domain(FDTD) method, an improved algorithm is proposed to directly transform the unstructured grids into Yee grids. Based on the ray intersection method, the algorithm updates the ray equation with its intersection to the triangle surface element, leading to a rapid mesh generation scheme. Also, it reduces the computational complexity and enhances the efficiency of meshing. Examples, from dielectric balls, warships, and F22 aircraft models, verify this algorithm can facilitate the FDTD calculation of large-scale complex targets.
