Abstract:
As for the control of the far field scattering beams of the coding metasurface, the coding sequence of mutually orthogonal directions are designed first. On this basis, the coding sequence of the metasurface can be quickly obtained by using the addition rule, which can effectively reduce the number of codes, lower the degree of design difficulty, and facilitate the design of the far field scattering beams on the metasurface as well. This paper adopts the metal rod structure as the metasurface unit and carries out an example analysis. The results show that the proposed coding sequence design method can effectively integrate the scattering characteristics of two orthogonal directional coding sequences, and flexibly control the scattering field in the upper half space of the metasurface. The research program has a wide application prospect in the fields of communication and radar.
