      Short-term prediction method of rain attenuation based on WRF model

      • 摘要: 将气象中应用广泛的数值天气预报模式应用到雨衰减区域短期预报中,基于数值天气预报模式WRF获得未来一段时间降雨强度和雨顶高度的空间分布,结合系统参数如频率、极化角和仰角等,利用电波传播算法获得雨衰减的空间分布.利用实测降雨数据对预报结果进行验证,结果显示:预报雨衰减和实测雨衰减基本符合,特别是二者随时间的变化趋势非常一致.

         

        Abstract: In this paper, the numerical weather prediction model is applied to regional rain attenuation forecast. The future rainfall rate and rain height of the top of the spatial distribution are obtained by WRF model. Then, parameters of the earth-space links such as frequency, polarization angle and elevation angle are applied to calculate the spatial distribution of rain attenuation. The results show that the forecast of rain attenuation agrees well with the rain attenuation based on the practical measurement, particularly in the variation trends over time.
