      The application prospect of the ionospheric incoherent scatter radar measurement

      • 摘要: 非相干散射雷达是目前地面观测电离层最强大的手段.简单介绍了非相干散射雷达探测技术的基本原理和发展现状, 接着结合实测数据详细分析了该技术在电离层探测、空间物体探测、空间等离子体物理研究等方面的应用前景, 紧接着介绍了一些新方法新技术在非相干散射雷达探测中的试验和使用情况.这对提升我国电离层空间环境探测与研究水平, 推动我国首套非相干散射雷达的科学产出和应用具有重要意义.

         

        Abstract: The incoherent scatter radar (ISR) is the most powerful tool on the ground to observe the ionosphere. The basic principle and latest progress of ISR is presented. The application prospect of ISR in the ionospheric observation, space object monitoring and space plasma physics research is investigated detailedly by combing some measurements. And then some new method and technology being tested and applied in the ISR are described. The work is of importance to improve the ability in the ionospheric observation and research and strengthen the scientific output and application of the first ISR in China.
