      超强磁暴期间中低纬电离层扰动的统计分析

      A statistical study on ionospheric disturbances at middle and low latitude caused by super magnetic storms

      • 摘要: 利用1957-2005年72次超强磁暴期间的电离层观测数据, 分析了北半球120°E附近中低纬电离层的扰动特征.结果表明, 电离层的扰动形态随磁暴发生季节和开始时间的不同而异.在冬季, 负相扰动主要发生在中纬, 低纬以正相扰动为主, 分界线在满洲里和北京之间; 在中纬, 下午开始的磁暴所引起的电离层扰动持续时间较长, 而在低纬, 夜间开始的磁暴所引起的扰动持续时间较长.夏季超强磁暴所引起的电离层扰动以负相为主, 下午开始的磁暴所引起的扰动最强, 夜间开始的磁暴所引起的扰动持续时间较长.在分季, 虽然各台站电离层仍以负扰动为主, 但扰动强度和持续时间随磁暴开始时间不同有明显差异.分析表明, 上述电离层扰动特征与暴时环流的影响密切相关.

         

        Abstract: Using ionospheric data near 120°E in the northern hemisphere during 72 super magnetic storms between 1957 and 2005, we studied the statistical characteristics of the ionospheric disturbances. The results showed that, the morphology varies with the onset season and local time of the storms. In winter, the negative disturbances are limited at middle latitude mostly, while the positive disturbances prevail at low latitude, with a separatrix between Manzhouli and Beijing. When the onset time of the storms is restrained in local afternoon at middle latitude, the resulted ionospheric disturbances last longer. At low latitude the super magnetic storm occurred at night can cause negative ionospheric disturbances with whose duration time are much longer. In summer, the negative disturbances can reach to lower latitude, and the events occurred in local afternoon can caused more intense ionospheric disturbances. The duration time is much longer for the events corresponding to the magnetic storms occurred before midnight. In equinoxes, the disturbances are mostly negative, though the intense and the duration time depend much on the local time distribution of the commence time. Preliminary analysis showed that the statistic results achieved above are much related with storm-time therm-ospheric circulations.
