Abstract:
Aiming at identification of Gold sequences of signals in non-cooperative Wide-band Code Division Multiple Access (WCDMA) systems, an identification method of Gold sequences based on the triple correlation peaks of the optimum m-sequences pair is proposed. Characteristics of triple correlation functions of Gold sequences are obtained from analysis of the properties of m-sequences. With utilization of the shift-and-add property of m-sequence, the influence of data sequence and Orthogonal Variable Spreading Factor (OVSF) code is eliminated by using double delay-and-multiply processing. Finally the Gold Sequence is identified through the signal's triple correlation function. Simulation results show that, the Gold sequences of WCDMA signals are identified availably by the proposed method, and the longer the signal's length and the higher signal to noise ratio (SNR), the better the performance of the proposed method.
