      Novel micro-Doppler extraction method for high-order motion target

      • 摘要: 分析了高机动运动目标的雷达回波, 针对目标回波的时频分布呈曲线的特点, 提出一种基于经验模态分解的运动补偿方法.该方法通过提取目标瞬时频率的趋势项对目标整体平动多普勒进行估计, 实现目标平动的补偿和微多普勒信号的提取.由于经验模态分解的自适应特性, 该方法并不需要对目标的运动进行建模, 不涉及目标运动参数估计.基于仿真和实测数据的实验结果表明:该方法对机动目标的平动具有较好的补偿效果, 适用于机动目标的微多普勒信号提取.

         

        Abstract: In this paper, the radar echo of flexible target is analyzed, and an empirical mode decomposition (EMD) based motion compensation method is proposed. The method firstly estimates the Doppler induced by the bulk motion via extracting the trend of instantaneous frequency. Based on the result, bulk motion compensation and micro-Doppler extraction are realized. Owing to the adaptive characteristic of EMD, the method could be realized without prior information about the motion of target. The experiment results based on simulation and measured data show that the method can compensate the bulk motion and extract micro-Doppler signal for flexible target.
