Abstract:
A novel method of calibrating sensor position errors, gain-phase errors and mutual coupling uncertainties for the transmitting array of the multiple-input multiple-output radar is proposed. Firstly, the experiment data from multiple directions is obtained by rotating the antenna array multiple times to sample, then the flow pattern the actual array is calculated by the characteristic decomposition for the covariance matrix, and the cost function is also created, finally, all the error parameters are estimated by the iteration algorithm and corrected. The computer simulation and experiment results of the actual antenna array demonstrate that the algorithm is effective and practical.
