      Novel structure and processing way for planar antenna array

      • 摘要: 提出一种适用于平面天线阵列的微波和数字处理的联合结构及相应的处理算法. 这种结构能够以全数字方式估计波达方向,并能以两种方式进行波束形成. 一种是全数字处理方式,另一种是按照阵列单元布局的矩阵处理;用数字微波移相器在俯仰面将天线单元的接收微波信号合成微波波束;采用数字波束形成方式形成最终的波束. 并提出了双线法估计波达方向的技术. 仿真和测试表明其灵活性和可行性.

         

        Abstract: A combined structure of microwave and digital processing is presented for a planar antenna array. The processing method and algorithm for the structure is developed. It can implement estimation of direction of arrival(DOA)by fully digital processing and form beam in two ways. One is fully digital processing. The other is a matrix processing corresponding to the array formation:a digital microwave phase shifter is used to combine the received radio carrier wave into beam in elevation; then digital beam forming is implemented to synthesize final pattern. Estimation of spatial DOA through two linear arrays is developed to reduce time expending. Simulation and measurement results show the flexibility and feasibility.
