Abstract:
To verify the applicability of the ITU-R P.2001 model in the Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope (FAST) radio quiet zone, we first analyze the propagation mechanism of the ITU-R P.2001 model and list the prediction process. In addition, we select multiple public mobile base stations in the FAST quiet area, finish outside testing, and collect test data. In the end, we compare the measured values with the predicted values of the ITU-R P.2001 model. The results show that there is a generally consistent trend between the predicted and the measured results, and the root mean square error is 7.93 dB. The above research results can provide a theoretical reference for electromagnetic compatibility analysis of FAST peripheral radio equipment and regional localization research and application of the ITU-R P.2001 model.
