      海面转向舰船尾迹的电磁散射建模与SAR成像模拟

      Electromagnetic scattering modeling and SAR image simulation of a turning ship wake on sea surface

      • 摘要: 针对海面转向舰船尾迹的电磁散射建模和合成孔径雷达(synthetic aperture radar, SAR)成像模拟问题,基于开尔文舰船尾迹生成理论和线性海面构建了海面与转向舰船尾迹复合模型。采用面元化双尺度思想,借助基尔霍夫近似和微扰法分别计算面元的相干与非相干散射分量,获得了成像场景分辨单元的散射系数。将散射系数和SAR系统冲激响应函数卷积得到了波束照射区域的回波信号,利用\omega K成像算法对SAR原始回波信号进行聚焦处理,获得了场景的二维SAR图像。将仿真尾迹SAR图像与TerraSAR-X实测SAR图像进行对比,结果表明二者之间具有较好的相似性,验证了本文基于面元双尺度电磁散射建模和SAR成像模拟的有效性。

         

        Abstract: Aiming at electromagnetic scattering modeling and SAR imaging simulation of the turning ship wake on rough sea surfaces, a composite model of the turning ship wake on sea surface is constructed based on the Kelvin ship wake generation theory and linear sea surface model. With faceted two-scale model, the coherent and incoherent scattering components of a facet are calculated using Kirchhoff approximation and perturbation model, respectively, and the scattering coefficients of each resolution cell in imaging scene are thus obtained using the faceted two-scale model. The scattering coefficient and SAR system impulse response function are convolved to obtain the echo signal of the imaging scene illuminated antenna beam, while a two-dimensional focused SAR image of the scene is obtained by using \omega K imaging algorithm to focus the raw SAR echo signal. A comparison is made between simulated wake SAR images and TerraSAR-X measured SAR images, and the results show good similarity between the two images, verifying the effectiveness of electromagnetic scattering modeling and SAR imaging simulation the faceted two-scale model utilized in this paper.
