Abstract:
Aiming at the demand of simultaneous receiving in dual beam for satellite communication terminal antennas, a K-band dual beam receiving phased array on satellite communication is designed. The flat-panel active phased array architecture, which integrated antenna on board, is adopted to achieve high density integration of antenna, R model, beamforming network, beam controller and power supplier. A 1024-element receiving phased array antenna prototype is manufactured and tested, which shows that the antenna is able to scan to ±60° and the gain-to-noise (
G/
T) is no less than 4.22 dB/K. The proposed phased array has the characteristic of low profile, light weight, low cost, convenient for mass production, and is instructive for engineering research on multi-beam flat-panel active phased array.
