      MIMO对流层散射信道建模研究

      Study on MIMO tropospheric scatter channel modeling

      • 摘要: 对流层散射信道特性对多输入多输出(multiple-input multiple-output, MIMO)对流层散射通信系统的设计和应用至关重要。针对现有文献进行信道建模时均是基于假设的衰落参数,无法反映真实对流层散射信道特性的问题,提出了一种考虑实际对流层散射链路应用环境的建模方法。该方法基于实际链路的地理高程数据和对流层大气环境数据,预测得到对流层散射信道的慢衰落和快衰落特性如基本传输损耗和时域、频域、空域参数等;信道建模采用Kronecker模型,并针对对流层散射信道给出了Kronecker模型中参数的确定方法。该建模方法能够反映实际的对流层散射衰落特性,可用于各种调制及编码方式下MIMO对流层散射通信系统的性能分析。

         

        Abstract: The characteristics of tropospheric scatter channel is very important for the design and application of multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) tropospheric scatter communication system. In view of the problem that the channel modeling in the existing literatures is based on the assumed fading parameters, which cannot reflect the real characteristics of the tropospheric scatter channel, a modeling method considering the actual application environment of the tropospheric scatter link is proposed in this paper. Based on the geographical elevation and tropospheric atmospheric environment data of the actual communication link, the slow fading and fast fading parameters of the basic transmission loss, time domain, frequency domain, space domain characteristics are obtained by using the prediction formula of tropospheric scatter propagation characteristics. The Kronecker model is applied to the MIMO tropospheric scatter channel and the method of determining parameters of the Kronecker model is provided. The model takes into account the actual characteristics of the tropospheric scatter channel, and can reflect the fading characteristics of the channel more truly. It can be used to analyze the performance of the tropospheric scatter communication system under various modulations and coding modes.
