Abstract:
In order to improve the design and manufacturing efficiency of the conformal phased array antenna, a tightly coupled ultra-wideband phased array antenna is designed on the basis of the planar tightly coupled antenna, which is conformal to the surface of the aircraft flap. According to the installation requirements of the conformal antenna, a hybrid 3D printing technology is proposed, and the melt stacking molding technology and microdrop injection molding technology are used to first realize the printing of the streamlined surface model of the flap, and then complete the printing of the radiation layer of the tightly coupled antenna, which verifies the application of 3D printing technology on the conformal antenna. After adding the feed structure, the unit voltage standing wave ratio and directional map are tested, and the results show that the designed antenna has the voltage standing wave ratio, unit directional map and array directional map in the range of 0.4−2.0 GHz, which meets the design specifications and provides the technical basis for the subsequent design and processing of the conformal antenna.
