      Research progress and application of FDTD algorithm

      • 摘要: 时域有限差分(Finite-Difference Time-Domain,FDTD)方法由于其简单、高效、能够处理复杂介质等特点在计算电磁学中占据了重要的地位。本文介绍了FDTD算法的提出、发展与完善过程;详细介绍了国内FDTD方法在复杂环境电波传播、电磁耦合计算、核爆和雷电脉冲传播以及地下目标探测等方面的研究进展;最后,介绍了西安电子科技大学在FDTD算法方面的相关探索及应用情况。

         

        Abstract: The Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) method is essential in computational electromagnetics due to its simplicity, efficiency, and ability to handle complex media. This article introduces the proposal, development, and improvement process of FDTD algorithm; Detailed introduction of the research progress of FDTD method in complex environment radio wave propagation, electromagnetic coupling calculation, nuclear explosion and lightning pulse propagation, and underground target detection in China; Finally, the exploration and application of FDTD algorithm by Xidian University are introduced.
