Abstract:
A four-band microstrip antenna fed by coplanar wave-guide(CPW) with multi-L-shaped slots was designed. The performance of the multiple frequency was obtained by carving L-shaped slot on a radiation triangular patch, and by adjusting the L-shaped slots and relative parameters, its bandwidth of each frequency band can be controlled flexibly. The proposed antenna has the features of multi-bands and miniaturization. By using coplanar waveguide feed and adopting the method of high dielectric constant substrate, the resonance frequency of the antenna can be reduced so that the antenna can work at lower frequency. A large number of simulations and calculations by using HFSS13.0 software have been done, and the simulation results show that the antenna can work at 1.254~1.276 GHz, 1.537~1.623 GHz/1.804-1.845 GHz and 2.097~3 GHz when the return loss was less than -10 dB. Simple structure, easy processing and implementation of the antenna are able to meet the requirements of the built-in GPS, the mobile terminal antenna of the third generation, the fourth generation, and their miniaturization and multiband requirements.
