Abstract:
Based on the space-frequency decomposition, the paper presents a novel time reversal time-domain imaging approach. The antenna array requires only one measurement to get scattered data which are utilized to set up space-frequency multistatic data matrix. Singular value decomposition is applied to this matrix and the left singular vectors corresponding to special targets are obtained. The ultrawideband signals and these vectors are employed to synthesize coherent backpropagation wave to obtain selective focusing for the targets. The novel approach has better real time imaging performance. It can provide satisfactory selective focusing for the moving targets embedded both in homogeneous and random media where multiple scattering is strong.
