雷达照射面积和平台速度对海杂波统计特性影响分析

      Impact of radar illumination area and platform velocity on sea clutter statistical characteristics

      • 摘要: 除雷达参数和海洋环境参数外,雷达海杂波统计特性还受测量平台状态的严重影响,导致不同平台测量的海杂波具有显著差异。为支撑海杂波数据和特性的跨平台转换应用,本文基于不同雷达带宽、载机高度、载机速度下的机载X波段和Ku波段大擦地角海杂波数据,研究了雷达分辨单元照射面积和平台运动速度对海杂波幅度统计分布特性的影响,给出了典型幅度分布参数的变化规律。结果表明:随着雷达分辨单元照射面积的增大,海杂波幅度分布趋向于瑞利分布,幅度分布形状参数与距离向分辨率呈现负相关,分辨率超过一定临界值时形状参数趋于稳定;平台运动速度对海杂波幅度分布的影响显著,速度较大时,海杂波幅度分布趋向于平稳。上述结论对不同平台间海杂波差异分析与转换应用具有重要指导意义。

         

        Abstract: In addition to radar parameters and marine environmental factors, the statistical characteristics of radar sea clutter are significantly influenced by the state of the measurement platform, leading to substantial differences in sea clutter measurements across platforms. To support cross-platform conversion applications of sea clutter data and characteristics, this study investigates the effects of illumination area of radar resolution cell and platform speed on the amplitude statistical distribution of sea clutter, based on the data with varying radar bandwidths, carrier altitudes, and aircraft speeds, collected at high grazing angles by X-band and Ku-band radar. The variation patterns of typical amplitude distribution parameters are elucidated. The results indicate that amplitude distribution of sea clutter tends to follow Rayleigh distribution as the radar resolution cell area increases. The shape parameter exhibits a negative correlation with the range resolution, stabilizing when the resolution exceeds a threshold. Furthermore, platform speed significantly impacts the amplitude distribution. At higher speeds, the amplitude distribution of sea clutter tends toward greater stationarity. These findings provide critical guidance for cross-platform analysis of sea clutter discrepancies and the development of conversion frameworks.
