Abstract:
In the field of electronic countermeasures, the omnidirectional efficient jamming capability has important application requirements. Based on the strong backtracking ability, a Van Atta backtracking array based on the Archimedean polyhedral configuration is proposed, and an ortho-hexagonal Van Atta array cell is designed. The scattering characteristics of polyhedral Van Atta array in omnidirectional space are analyzed under different incoming wave angles, numbers of array elements and incident wave frequencies. The results show that this polyhedral Van Atta array has the advantages of compact structure. The strong scattering space ratio of the scattering field in the X-band frequency range is over 85%, which has the advantage of omnidirectional scattering capability and good potential for application in scenarios where omnidirectional backtracking capability is required.
