      Prediction model of rain attenuation for the earthspace links

      • 摘要: ITU-R地空链路雨衰减预测模式和近年来发展的其它几种模式的预测结果随仰角增大非单调减小的奇异性现象进行了分析,分析表明这种奇异性与实验数据是不一致的.利用基于指数雨胞的雨衰减物理模型和ITUR地空链路雨衰减实验数据,得到了降雨率调整因子公式中的参数,建立了一种利用全概率降雨率分布的地空链路雨衰减预测模式.与其他预测模式比较表明这一预测模式具有更好的预测精度,使用起来更加简单,且其预测结果随仰角变化不存在奇异性现象.

         

        Abstract: The singularity of rain attenuation predicted by ITUR model and other models developed in recent years are analyzed, which indicates  rain attenuation varies nonmonotonically with elevation. The results show that the singularity is disagree with the measured data.  By using the measured data of rain attenuation in ITUR SG3 data banks and the rainfall rate adjustment factor developed, a new rain attenuation prediction model for the earthspace links is proposed, in which the full rainfall rate distribution is utilized. Compared with ITUR model and other models, the new model  improves the accuracies of rain attenuation prediction, and has more simple prediction procedure, meanwhile, the rain attenuation predicted by the new model is monotonic with elevation variation.
