      Design and optimization semi-circular spiral antenna

      • 摘要: 实际工程项目的特殊几何布局要求应答器处于特殊金属腔体结构中,这严重阻碍了应答器与阅读器之间的正常电磁传播。为解决该特殊几何布局下,收发两端电磁耦合难问题,一款新型的短距离无线通信发射天线——半圆螺旋天线被用于取代传统的直螺旋线圈,有效地实现了阅读器与应答器之间能量和数据的一体化同步传输;该天线工作于13.56 MHz、有效作用距离可达100 mm.利用ANSOFT公司有限元法求解工具-高频结构仿真器(HFSS),给出了半圆螺旋天线优化设计流程及主要工作特性,为同类问题提供了实际可参考的工程解决方案。

         

        Abstract: The actual application of the engineering project requires a tag to be placed in a special metal cavity, which gravely blocks the propagation of the electro-magnetic power between the reader and the tag. In order to guarantee the effective communication between the reader and tag, an innovative semi-circular spiral antenna, which works on 13.56 MHz and whose effective communication distance reaches up to 100 mm, is developed to enable the synchronous transmission of the power and data. By using finite-element method, the key features of the semi-circular spiral antenna and its design process are given out, which provides a practical engineering solution for the homogeneous problems.
