      The quasi 3-D ray tracing model in microcellular environment

      • 摘要: 基于几何光学理论、一致性绕射理论和镜像理论,运用射线追踪方法,提出一种有效的准三维电波传播预测模型。针对已有文献在相交遮挡测试时会漏掉或多取一些面的缺点,本模型采用计算点源(根节点、镜像点和绕射点)到各个面端点角度的方法,结合点源的可视范围得到点源的可视面。不仅减少了对可视面进行相交遮挡测试的次数,而且克服了文献中遮挡测试的缺点,计算准确度和效率均有显著提高。通过将该模型的预测结果与测量结果、文献中预测结果的对比,证明了模型的正确性。

         

        Abstract: Based on the theory of physical optics (PO), uniform theory of diffraction (UTD) and image theory, a quasi 3-D ray tracing radio propagation prediction in microcellular systems is proposed. To overcome the shortcomings of crossing and blocking test which could cause surface loss or surface redundancy, the proposed model can calculate the angles of the point fountain (fountainhead, image point and diffraction point) to the point of each surfaces and combine the range of its sight to get the surfaces in sight of point fountain. This model can reduce the test of crossing and blocking and overcomes some shortcomings, and the accuracy and efficiency are greatly improved. The results predicted by this model have good agreement with observation data and the predicted result by comparison with the reference papers.
