      基于1/4模基片集成波导的单馈电小型圆极化天线

      Single-fed compact circularly polarized antenna based on quarter-mode substrate integrated waveguide

      • 摘要: 1/4模基片集成波导可等效为由两个磁壁和一个电壁组成的等腰直角三角形波导.采用基于等腰直角三角形波导的空腔模式法分析了1/4模基片集成波导, 得到了横电波模和横磁波模的表达式.基于1/4模基片集成波导设计了一种单微带馈电的平面小型圆极化天线.仿真结果表明:该天线可以实现右旋圆极化, 且具有6.18 dBic的高增益和3.44%的3 dB轴比带宽.

         

        Abstract: A quarter-mode substrate integrated waveguide (QMSIW) is equivalent to an isosceles right triangular waveguide with two magnetic walls and one electric wall at the hypotenuse of the triangular. The mode solutions of the QMSIW are determined based on the cavity model of an isosceles right triangular waveguide, both transverse electric and transverse magnetic mode shapes are presented in this paper. Single microstrip-fed antenna based on QMSIW with planar compact circular polarization is proposed and designed. The simulation results show that this antenna exhibits right-handed circularly polarized radiation with a high gain of 6.18 dBic and 3 dB axial ratio bandwidth of 3.44%.
