      Correlation analysis of noise signal with wideband Gaussian power spectrum

      • Wideband noise radar has good performance in anti-jamming and low probability of intercept.Due to ignoring the Doppler dispersion effect,the traditional narrow band correlation function is incapable of analyzing the correlation characteristic of wideband signal.In this paper,the analytical expression of wideband correlation function is derived by using Gaussian noise frequency modulated signal.Simulation results are provided to verify the above expressions.Based on this analysis,the characteristic of the wideband correlation function is shown as double peak under the large Doppler dispersion product,and its cause is present.In addition,the relationship among the double peak position,the Doppler dispersion product and the fractional bandwidth is pointed out.This paper provides theoretical basis for system parameter design and analysis of resolution and detection performance in the wideband noise radar with Gaussian power spectrum.
