Effect of mutual coupling on the channel capacity of double scattering MIMO systems

The effect of mutual coupling (MC) on the channel capacity of doublescattering multiple input multiple output(MIMO) systems is researched. Based on the establishment of the equivalent MC model of multiple antenna systems, the mathematical expressions of both signal spatial correlation and channel capacity with MC effect are derived, and then analyzed the array MC effect on final MIMO channel capacity in the doublescattering situation is aralyzed through computer simulations.
