Spherical conformal arrays with multiple beam based on the C60 molecular structure

To satisfy the requirements of regional coverage of the multiple beam satellite communication system, a beam switching conformal antenna array is designed, which is based on the types of the spherical arrangement. The C60 multiplanar molecular structure is a combination of pentagon and hexagon. The array factor function is deduced and the design principles of the spherical conformal array is analyzed. Based on the unit model, the simulation and analysis to the symmetric structure of the spherical of the subarray beam is carried out.
