Abstract
This paper presents an equivalent electromagnetic model for honeycomb structure based on strong fluctuation theory. First of all, the equivalent electromagnetic parameters of honeycomb structure are extracted by using transmission/reflection method in principle radar frequency(2~18 GHz). And then, the equivalent electromagnetic model is established based on the revision of strong fluctuation theory. Finally, the performance of equivalent electromagnetic model is studied under different situations. The simulation results show that the proposed equivalent model can predict the equivalent electromagnetic parameters of honeycomb structure with small cell dimensions. For large cell dimensions, the equivalent model still works quite well in low frequency, but the correlation function needs to be further amended since the dispersion characteristics of the equivalent electromagnetic parameters in high frequency are different from that in low frequency.
