Abstract
To estimate the fast fading of propagating channels,a channel estimation algorithm was proposed in distributed multipleinput multipleoutput(MIMO)orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM)fast fading systems.Joint sparse models between the antenna nodes could be exploited with spatialdelayDoppler correlation.A structurally random pilot matrix was given with precorrelation.The sparse channel impulse response was compressed and reconstructed in an energy efficient manner based on distributed compressed sensing algorithm.The distributed MIMO channels were estimated with arbitrarily different coefficients.The simulation results show that the new channel estimator can provide a considerable performance improvement in estimating fast fading channels,when the significant reduction is achieved in the required number of pilots and computational complexity.
