Electromagnetic backwardscattering measurements of rough sea surface in near field

A series of backward scattering measurements simulating rough sea surface were conducted over a wave pool. The rough water simulated a onedimensional PiersonMoskowitz surface. The scattering factor were analyzed with incident angle and frequency. The compiled data represent more fluctuant and complicated when the rough sea surface were illuminated by narrow beam width horns in near field.
