Abstract
Imaging may be affected if aircraft velocity is ignored in signal model of airborne array forward-looking synthetic aperture radar(SAR).To solve this problem,aircraft velocity is considered in signal model of frequency modulated continuous wave(FMCW)SAR.Effect of aircraft velocity and characteristic of Doppler frequency shift resulting from aircraft continuous motion are analyzed.Combining with frequency scaling algorithm,forward-looking imaging method for airborne array FMCW SAR is studied.Imaging simulation and parameter performance analysis show that the proposed method can realize forward-looking imaging accurately for FMCW SAR when aircraft is moving.
