Abstract
For the synchronization in nonsinusoidal communication systems which is based on prolate spheroidal wave functions,a synchronization method based on training sequence and pilot signal is proposed. At the transmitter, the prolate spheroidal wave pulse signals which are modulated by training sequence are adopted as synchronous head, and pilot signal is added to modulated signal as well.At the receiver, sampling clock synchronization is achieved by using the pilot signal and phase-locked loop technology.Local template signal is correlative with the sliding of the received modulated signal and synchronization signal is captured by detecting maximum correlation value.Theoretical analysis and simulation results show that the method has a good synchronization performance at low signal-to-noise ratios in the additive Gaussian white noise(AGWN) channel.
