      Effect of the transmission antenna radiation pattern on the imaging quality of the MMW holographic imaging radar

      • A MMW holographic imaging radar model is created based on both Fresnel diffraction theory and Fourier optics theory, in which the effect of the transmission antenna radiation pattern on the imaging quality of the system is paid more attention. Furthermore, a Matlab simulation program is designed to analyze the effects under super narrow beam, general beam and super wide beam, which shows that the system can generate a better holographic image if choosing a transmission antenna with appropriate beam width.
