      SIW hybrid power divider fed periodic antenna array

      • In the paper, a 2×4 printed log periodic antenna array fed by an E/H-plane hybrid power divider is presented and compared with 1×4 printed log periodic antenna array. The measured impedance bandwidth of the 1×4 printed log periodic antenna array is 10.5~19.5 GHz for|S11| ≤ -10 dB. The measured impedance bandwidth of the 2×4 printed log periodic antenna array is 11.2~16.7 GHz for|S11| ≤ -10 dB. The measured radiation patterns of the 1×4 and 2×4 antenna array at 12 GHz, 13 GHz, 14 GHz, 15 GHz and 16 GHz are presented. The 2×4 printed log periodic antenna array has the similar radiation characteristics in the working bandwidth and the radiation gain is improved by 1~3 dB compared with 1×4 printed log periodic antenna array.
