Wide slot UWB antenna with band rejection character analysis

Rectangular wide slot ultra wideband(UWB) antenna is designed accordi ng to the requirement of short distance communication for UWB antenna. Band reje ction character is realized by loading a λ_g/4 open circuit. The effect of antenna parameters is analyzed. Requirements by short distance wireless communi cation are satisfied according to the simulation and experiment of this antenna. Character of 4.5 GHz~6 GHz band rejection is realized. Stable gain and distort ionless wave character is obtained. The antenna can be used as short distance wi reless communication antenna for its small size, low cost and easy to integrate.
