      Novel ACPW phase compensated structure for CPW bend

      • A novel asymmetric coplanar waveguide (ACPW) phase compensated structure for coplanar waveguide (CPW) bend is proposed. It introduces a periodic structure composed of CPW, ACPW and tapered lines, which can suppress the odd mode excited by different phases in two slots of the transmission line. The proposed structure is equi-impedance, which would be benefit for signal transmission. Theoretical analysis, numerical simulations and measurements results demonstrate the validity of the structure in phase compensation, and the design method of using numerical computation is also summarized.
